Welcome to the Website
The Champlain Power
Squadron has been in existence for sixty years. We are part of the
United States Power Squadron which is
the largest safe boating organization in the world. Originally founded
in 1914, USPS is a nonprofit organization devoted to boater safety.
There are approximately 40,000 members in 450 squadrons across the
United States.
Champlain Power Squadron is headquartered in Plattsburgh, NY on the shores of beautiful Lake Champlain. We meet at 1900 hours the first Tuesday of every month at the Mae Currier Center on the Tom Miller Road. Meetings are open to the public.
We are dedicated to the principal that boating is fun. The courses that we offer will hopefully result in safe as well as fun boating.
our classes.
